We serve adults 18 years of age and older.

What services do you offer?
A: We offer one-to-one tutoring in reading, writing, life skills, basic math, and Pre-GED.

When is the Literacy Center open?
A:
The Center is open on Monday through Thursday, 8am-8pm.
Q:
Are computers available?
A:
Yes. There is a computer center that may be used to support individual learning plans.

Is there a cost involved?
A:
The tutoring is free.
Q:
Do you provide child care or transportation?
A:
We do not provide child care or transportation.
Q:
Do you have to be a teacher to tutor at the Center?
A:
No. Volunteers are prepared to tutor at a 12-hour workshop.
Q:
How much time is required to tutor?
A:
A tutor is asked to make a commitment of two hours a week.
Q:
Does a tutor have to find a place to tutor and books to use?
A:
No. All tutoring is done at the Literacy Center, and all books and materials are available.
